Compatible with most Apple iOS and Android smartphones, the Land Rover InControl system turns your smartphone into a remote control that keeps you connected to and in control with the most important parts of your Land Rover. InControl gives you the power to check your Land Rover’s fuel levels and locks, get service reminders, store your traveled routes around Mainline and any other area, lock and unlock your car without the keys or fob, and even locate your car if it’s lost or stolen. The Best InControl Remote Apps

Once you’ve done the initial set-up for InControl, getting apps is easy. Search for Land Rover InControl® Apps™ in the Apple App Storeor Google Play, depending on your smartphone preference. Choose your app, download, and install as you would any other app on your smartphone. Once it’s installed, follow the Auto Quick Start Guide to complete. Some apps you might find useful include:

How to Install InControl Remote Apps in Your Land Rover

When you’ve installed your apps to your smartphone, here’s how you connect them to your Land Rover:

To connect your smartphone to your vehicle with InControl® Apps™:

1. From inside your vehicle, turn on the car’s electrical system.
2. Pair your smartphone to your vehicle’s Bluetooth.
3. Using a media USB cord for your smartphone, plug your phone into the specially designated InControl® Apps™ USB port. Your owner’s manual will tell you how to locate this port.
4. If you’re using an iPhone, open the InControl App. On an Android, select “Always Allow.”
5. Select InControl Apps on your Land Rover touchscreen, then select View to use apps without audio. Select View and Listen to use apps with audio.

Third-party apps like Stitcher will be grayed out with a key symbol at first. Select the grayed-out icons on your car’s touchscreen and follow the prompts to install them.
